Nothing Better Than a Fuzzy Vest

The best kind of vest, is most definitely a fuzzy one. This fall, I have been wearing my beige teddy-bear like J.Crew vest almost daily. In the picture below, I’m wearing the vest while hanging out in Harlem eyeing town houses I wish were mine! Although the vest is from last season, it’s definitely become a staple. It goes with everything, and is unbelievably comfortable and perfect for the fall weather. Plus, it goes great with this LL Bean Men’s rugby shirt (I bought a medium and wear it all the time.) If you’re looking for something similar to this vest, I recommend trying this one from Patagonia, or this TopShop one at Nordstrom.

This season, I splurged and bought the new J. Crew Leopard Print Faux Fur Vest, and I am more than obsessed. It’s perfect with a solid white or black shirt underneath. I paired it with my short J.Crew leather boots from a few seasons ago (they last forever!), and my favorite Madewell Skinny High Top Jeans, which are actually on sale right now! My parents gave me the Signet Flap bag in Italian Leather from J.Crew for my 23rd Birthday a couple weeks ago, and it has been perfect for all occasions. It has a pocket that fits my new iPhone 8 perfectly, and also fits my rose gold Kate Spade Wallet, along with any additional lipstick I may need. I chose to wear this Ralph Lauren Cable Knit Crew Neck Sweater, because I loved how the white contrasted with the darker leopard print.

Jake chose a classic LL. Bean Flannel with dark J.Crew Jeans. The Lindsay pattern at L.L Bean always gets me in the Holiday Spirit…which, for me, starts right after Halloween! Plus, LL. Bean has the best flannels compared to anyone else out there. They last for years, and are extremely comfortable. My favorite go-to snow day outfit is leggings with an oversized L.L. Bean Flannel. If you’re looking for something a little warmer, their fleece lined ones are d-i-v-i-n-e.

After enjoying our time in Washington Square Park (AKA NYU Central), we enjoyed dinner and drinks at The White Oak Tavern just outside the park with my best friend, and photographer, Molly. It was delicious, and the perfect atmosphere for a good time with friends.

Make sure you grab one of these vests before the holidays… perfect for a casual Thanksgiving. 🙂
