The Overnight Resurfacing Peel might be my number one recommended “splurge” item. This product gave me the jump start I needed to “fix” my skin – when I use the resurfacing peel, I wake up feeling like my skin is significantly smoother. It gave me the help I needed to get rid of those bumps I had all over my face – they used to show through my foundation but now, they’re all gone! The resurfacing peel is perfect for underneath your moisturizer a few nights a week, and works on a variety of skin types. I was having such serious problems with my skin last month, and I can’t stress enough that using the resurfacing peel gave me the boost I needed to start getting my skin back to normal for myself.
Cleansing balms are one of my all time favorite travel companions because it’s such an easy way just throw a cleanser into your bag. With the Beauty Counter Cleansing Balm, you hardly need to use any of it and it’s extremelyyyyy gentle. What’s great about this balm is that is has such a variety of different uses – you can lather is up and use it as an overnight mask or simply use it as your daily makeup remover cleanser. It’s also a vitamin C booster and helps significantly with skin hydration! 🙂
This No.1 Brightening Facial Oil is a BEST SELLER and acts as a “daily radiance booster.” In all seriousness, this oil feels unbelievably good on my face. A couple time a week, I put three drops on my face – one on each cheek and another on my forehead. I gently rub it in and then put my moisturizer on top. It feels s0o0o0o good and smells super citrusy! I truly feel that this has helped to brighten my skin and make my face feel, overall, healthier. This is such a feel good item that you should definitely snag during the sale!
The Countermatch Adaptive Lotion is such a Beauty Counter staple. Seriously – it’s what everyone tries first and, often, it’s what makes people stay. This moisturizer is, as typical with BC, super super gentle. It’s perfect for skin, like mine, that’s really sensitive. Coming from someone who deals with a lot of allergic reactions to products, this is a moisturizer I would definitely trust and recommend to someone who is looking for something hydrating and light for their face! 10/10 would absolutely recommend. You can literally see by the squished look that I am almost done with this bottle!
Okay, prior to this product, I had never used a charcoal clay mask before. However, I tried the Beauty Counter No. 3 Balancing Facial Mask and it felt amazing. It’s tight on your face, and you can completely see your pores as it dries (such a weird feeling…! Don’t make fun of my picture below but omg, HOLY PORES.) but you can literally feel the deep clean it gives your face when you wash it off. BC really recommends it if you have oily skin – which, sometimes, I tend to get. This mask truly feels like such a luxury item – this sale is the perfect time to snag it!
Prior to Beauty Counter, I never used brow gel before. Like, ever. I did absolutely nothing with my eye brows and felt like, if I ever even had brow gel, I wouldn’t even really know what to do with it. Well, I was completely wrong. I took the plunge and bought this Brilliant Brow Gel (my shade is “natural medium brown”) – it literally takes one quick swipe on each brow and I feel like they look full and sleek. It’s something I never knew I needed, but now use every single day!
Another everyday staple? The 9-5 Color Intense Lipstick. This color is so universal and stunning. I have so many different lipsticks and, the entirety of this past month, I have found myself reaching for it every. single. day. The 9-5 color is super flattering, and you’ve probably noticed it’s linked in almost every blog post at this point. HOWEVER, I am eyeing the “Brunch – Tawny Pink” and am thinking that might be my next purchase….! (lol ignore the chip in my nail polish, please.)
Did you know that Beauty Counter also has a men’s line?? Counterman Energizing Charcoal Body Wash is a favorite of Jake’s – he loves the citrus scent! The charcoal helps detox the skin and has become a new staple of his. If you prefer bars of soap, it comes in that as well! I’m looking forward to Jake checking out the rest of the men’s skincare line – there are a lot of options and I’m particularly wondering about their exfoliating cleanser…
Right now, I’m also really loving the Countersun Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for this summer – I got a ton of samples, and it’s so gentle and lightweight! Plus, it’s water proof, which will be perfect for when I’m swimming in the ocean in Rhode Island this summer. My skin is extremely fair, and I burn really easily. This is something I, obviously, really try to avoid – and I’m looking forward to putting this sunscreen to the ultimate test of the summer months!
