Guysssssss I pulled the plug on my old laptop (literally) and got a brand new 13″ MacBook Pro! I’m so happy! This is a very “adult” purchase for me. I don’t usually buy things like this but I knew it had to be done. My sister Sam just got a new laptop for college, because both of ours were pretty old and not working very well, and once I saw hers I knew I wanted to get one for myself too.
I know this is old news, but I’m really into the Touch Bar on the top of the keyboard. It changes with each app, so it’s been kind of fun to click around and see what it does in different areas of my laptop. I actually almost bought the air, but I had the educators discount (plus the price of my old computer turned in!) so I splurged and went for the pro. I stopped myself from buying the air simply because I could get it in pink….;)
One thing I really love is how fast it runs – something I definitely am not used to! My old computer could take ten minutes to connect to the wifi and always had the rainbow swirl when opening something too big. Plus, airdrop hardly ever worked and I would always end up needing to email myself pictures. Basically, it just wasn’t working properly an I definitely needed an upgrade. It’s making me want to blog more, create more and get work done. Which is good, because the school year is about to start and I’ve had a lot of work to do!
Do you have an Apple computer? I know there’s such a windows vs apple debate! I love Apple because everything is connected – my iPad, my watch, my phone, and my laptop. Some people don’t like that, but it makes everything so efficient and easy for me!
