I am so very thrilled to be starting my first year full year teaching this year. The first day went really smoothly and I know that, even with the circumstances, I plan on giving them my best work so we can have a great school year together. I’ve been waiting to have my own classroom for a while, with building sub jobs, TA positions and long term sub jobs – all really rewarding and exactly where I needed to be – but I am so very excited to have my own room and my own group of students for a whole year. It’s really very exciting! I feel like I’m finally exactly where I’m supposed to be, which is a pretty wonderful feeling.
Dress is Gal Meets Glam, which has sadly closed! Shoes are Jacks, Mask is from SmallWorldSailing Co (They are my favorite! She does an amazing job!), and lanyard is palmtreeparadise.
I also think, with everything going on, it’s really important to walk in with a positive attitude – even if it’s different and challenging. I guess I just want to say I am really quite happy to be doing what I’ve wanted to do for so long. This is a quick post – but I really wanted to remember how I felt today! <3
